Port Augusta City Council is located at the head of Spencer Gulf in South Australia and includes Stirling North and the seaside homes located at Commissariat Point, Blanche Harbor and Miranda and has a population of almost 14,000 people. Council acknowledges and respects the traditional owners, their ancestors and the sharing of lands on which Port Augusta is located
